The City of Clinton was well represented at the Mississippi Recreation and Park Association Annual Conference held last week in Biloxi, where our Parks and Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation teams received several statewide honors recognizing the impact of their programs and events.

There is substantial and understandable public interest in a recently approved project in the Clinton Industrial Park. While some construction activities to rehabilitate the building have begun, the project developer is in ongoing negotiations about some aspects of the project, which is why no public announcement has been made. While there are limits on what may be shared at this point, the city does want to address a few of the concerns that have been raised.
The City of Clinton has implemented a burn ban that will remain in effect through April 1.
The intersection of Old Vicksburg Road and Tanglewood Drive will be closed during the day on Wednesday, February 25 to allow Public Works crews to repair a water main break and determine the source of water surfacing in the street.
