Sewers, Garbage & Recycling

Sewers

The City of Clinton Department of Public Works provides Clinton, MS residents with sanitary sewage service. A monthly service fee is included in each household’s utility bill and is based on water consumption.

Homeowners are responsible for maintenance and repairs to their home’s sewer laterals or lines. However, if you suspect or experience a sewer blockage, you should report it to the Clinton Public Works office for inspection. We also ask that all residents help us prevent damage to city infrastructure by only disposing of appropriate waste items (human waste and toilet paper).

To report a sewage issue or improper disposal, or to get more information about city services, please contact Clinton Public Works at 601-924-2239.
