Red Brick Roads Music & Arts Festival Returns to the Brick Streets of Olde Towne March 27-29
Red Brick Roads is back and better than ever! Join us for an event filled weekend beginning Thursday, March 27 through Saturday, March 29!
The weekend begins Thursday night at the inaugural Story Fest hosted by the Institute of Southern Storytelling at MC. This event will feature a Q&A panel with Hollywood Actor Gary Grubbs and acclaimed author Michael Farris Smith as well as a premier of Smith’s directional debut Chasing Rabbits, filmed in Clinton by a crew of students from MC. Come be part of the story at 6:30 PM at the Entergy Theatre in the Gore Arts Complex. This event is FREE and open to the public!
Friday night, Mustache the Band will turn the brick streets into a honkytonk with their incredible 90’s country covers. Gates open at 6 pm with Mustache taking the stage from 7 – 10 PM.
Saturday’s schedule is packed with new additions to Red Brick Roads:
Red Brick Run 5k – The race will kick off at 7 AM at Olde Towne Depot for a scenic run through Olde Towne. Runners of all skill levels are welcome!
Red Brick Roads Plein Air Paint Out – The Plein Air Paint Out, hosted by the Wyatt Waters Gallery, is set to bring dozens of plein air artists to Clinton as part of Red Brick Roads! The event kicks off at 9 AM, with artists capturing Clinton’s Olde Towne scenery until 2 PM. Their completed works will then be showcased at Wyatt Waters Gallery during the festival that evening. Be sure to visit the gallery and vote for your favorite piece of art!
Art in the Park – Celebrate creativity with Art in the Park at Lion’s Club Park from 10 AM – 3 PM, featuring local artists, artisans, and crafters showcasing their work. This family-friendly event will offer hands-on art activities for children and opportunities to support the creative community. Various bands from Hinds Community College will provide live music. This event is free and open to the public.
Red Brick Brew Homebrew Competition – Everyone, 21 and up, is invited to taste 40+ brews in the Red Brick Brew Beer Garden beginning at 3 – 5 PM. Sample quantities are limited, so come early to taste and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award!
Community Crawfish Boil – Sponsored by T’beaux’s Crawfish and Catering, join friends and neighbors at the community crawfish boil from 5 – 9 PM, bringing Southern flavor and tradition to the heart of the festival. Enjoy fresh crawfish, corn, and potatoes while soaking up the festive atmosphere of live music and art. Plates are sold in 3 lb quantities until we’re sold out!
