Preliminary Results: 2025 Clinton Municipal Election

The City of Clinton has completed the initial count of in-person and absentee ballots. Affidavit ballots will be screened, and mailed-in absentee ballots (from qualified voters such as those with disabilities) will be accepted for a few more days, in accordance with state law.
Once all valid ballots are reviewed and received, official final results will be certified and released.
Here are the preliminary vote totals as of June 3, 2025:
Mayor
✅ Will Purdie – 1,634 votes (100%)

Alderman-at-Large
✅Robert Chapman – 1,341 votes (70.7%)
James Warren – 556 votes (29.3%)

✅ Karen Godfrey – 200 votes (100%)

✅ T.J. McSparrin – 230 votes (100%)
