March of the Mayors: Clinton Collects Canned Green Beans
The City of Clinton is proud to participate in the March of the Mayors, a statewide initiative bringing communities together to fight hunger across Mississippi. As part of this effort, Clinton residents are invited to donate canned green beans now through February 27 at Clinton City Hall, 300 Jefferson Street.

An ice storm is expected to impact Clinton beginning early Sunday morning, with deteriorating weather conditions creating hazardous travel and dangerous outdoor conditions across the city.
Winter Storm Safety Information
A very serious winter storm is approaching the region. While Clinton is on the outer perimeter of the system, current projections show the potential for up to ½ inch of ice, which could make travel extremely dangerous and lead to downed trees, damaged powerlines, and extended power outages across the area.
Winter Weather Update and Preparedness Reminder
According to national weather forecasts, a winter storm is expected to impact the area beginning Saturday evening and continuing into Sunday. Current projections indicate overnight lows in the teens and a 90 percent chance of precipitation. Conditions are expected to begin declining Friday night and continue throughout the day Saturday.
