Celebrate Spring in Olde Towne Clinton with the Caterpillar Parade and Spring into Green Market
Olde Towne Clinton is the place to be this Saturday, April 12, as the community comes together for a full day of springtime festivities, including the beloved Caterpillar Parade and the charming Spring into Green Market.
The fun begins at 9:30 a.m. in Lions Club Park with a reading of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, followed by the crowning of the 2025 Caterpillar Queen. Families are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy this whimsical tradition that celebrates creativity and community spirit.
At 10:00 a.m., the streets of Olde Towne come alive with the Caterpillar Parade. Featuring decorated golf cart floats, costumed caterpillar krewes, bikers, and walkers, the colorful procession winds through the heart of downtown. Spectators can line the sidewalks to enjoy the sights and sounds of this lively and family-friendly event.
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., visitors can also explore the Spring into Green Market, a showcase of unique, handcrafted items from local artists and crafters. Whether you’re looking for home décor, gifts, or seasonal treasures, the market offers something for everyone. While you shop, enjoy delicious food and sweet treats from downtown restaurants and on-site food vendors.
Don’t forget to take in the sights of the yarn-bombed trees throughout Olde Towne—a colorful tradition organized by Main Street Clinton that adds a festive flair to the area each spring.
