Broadway Street Bank Stabilization Begins July 14
Beginning Monday, July 14, weather permitting, crews will begin a bank stabilization and drainage improvement project along Broadway Street in front of Landmark Apartments.
Ward 3 Alderman Republican Primary Vote April 1
Absentee ballots are now being accepted at Brighton Park. Registered voters from Ward 3 may cast their absentee ballots during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Additionally, the office will be open from 8 AM to Noon on the two Saturdays before the election (March 22 and 29). The deadline for absentee voting is Noon on Saturday, March 29.
Spring Citywide Cleanup Set to Begin on April 26
The City of Clinton’s annual Spring Citywide Cleanup will take place April 26, 2025 – May 3, 2025 (except Sunday, April 27). During the cleanup period, the City of Clinton will have dumpsters available for residents at the old Northside Elementary School location at 1111 Old Vicksburg Road.

Hinds County Municipalities Call for Delay and Transparency in New Inmate Housing Fees
Mayors of several municipalities in Hinds County issued a letter to the Hinds County Board of Supervisors yesterday in response to a letter from Supervisor Robert Graham, who proposed imposing a daily charge for inmates detained at the Hinds County Detention Center by municipal or law enforcement agencies.
