November 19 Board of Aldermen Meeting Recap
Here are the highlights from the latest Board of Aldermen meeting: Police Department Highlights Officer Snow was recognized for his compassionate care in addressing the mental health needs of an individual involved in an automobile accident. Police Chief Hayman reported on a decrease in felony crime statistics for 2024, outlined calls for service, and announced an increase in traffic patrol officers for 2025. Clinton Firefighters Participate in 9/11 Tributes
In honor of the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Reservoir Fire Department held its annual 9/11 Remembrance Run on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Some of Clinton’s bravest firefighters participated in the eleven-mile memorial walk. Those who participated are: Captain D. Bennett, Lt. I. Morgan, FF C. Brown, FF T. Kaiser, FF K. Larkin, FF T. Movie Begins Filming in Clinton September 16
Beginning Monday, September 16, 2024, OTG Productions will be filming in the Olde Towne district of Clinton. Production in Olde Towne will continue through Wednesday, September 25, 2024 (with the exception of Saturday the 21 and Sunday the 22).
Hurricane Francine Affects Garbage Pickup
Waste Management will NOT be running garbage pickup on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Thursday pickup will be rescheduled for Friday and Friday pickup will be rescheduled for Saturday.
