During the October 15, 2024, board meeting, Donna Yowell, executive director of the Mississippi Urban Forest Council, presented the city of Clinton with the 2024 Scenic Community of Mississippi award. This award is presented to one community each year that strives to manage land, water, landscapes, and other natural resources in sustainable and attractive methods.
