November 19 Board of Aldermen Meeting Recap
Here are the highlights from the latest Board of Aldermen meeting: Police Department Highlights Officer Snow was recognized for his compassionate care in addressing the mental health needs of an individual involved in an automobile accident. Police Chief Hayman reported on a decrease in felony crime statistics for 2024, outlined calls for service, and announced an increase in traffic patrol officers for 2025. Cruzin’ Clinton Car Show Road Closures and Parade Route
The following roads will be closed from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 16th for the Cruzin’ Clinton Car Show: Jefferson Street from Madison to E. Leake Streets Leake Street from Capitol to East Streets Monroe Street from Main to Lawson Streets The Cruzin’ Clinton Parade route will take a new turn this year. City of Clinton Water Main Breaks
The Public Works Department is actively working on numerous water main breaks within the city of Clinton. During these extreme dry weather conditions, the hardening of the ground can cause damage to the line. Water main breaks are a priority of the department and, as a result, water leaks will be resolved when all main break issues have been addressed. To report a water main break please call 601-924-2239.
