Official Statement from the City of Clinton Regarding WLBT Coverage
The City of Clinton welcomes coverage of the progress we are making with regard to infrastructure improvements but must object to the inaccurate and unfounded characterizations in the recent WLBT story on the city road resurfacing project. To suggest that Clinton’s roads are “crumbling” and “pothole riddled” in any substantial manner is simply untrue.

City Offices Closed for the Christmas Holiday
City offices will be closed today through Christmas Day to allow our employees the opportunity to spend time celebrating the holiday with their loved ones.
Christmas Holiday Garbage Pick-Up Schedule
Waste Management will be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25th. Collections will be delayed by one day: Wednesday customers will be serviced on Thursday, Thursday customers on Friday, and Friday customers on Saturday. Wishing you Happy Holidays!
Northside Bridge Reopening Delayed
Hinds County officials have announced that the reopening of the Northside Bridge, originally scheduled for December 15, has been delayed. The bridge is now expected to reopen by the end of the month.
