The annual Chamber of Commerce Public Service Luncheon gathered city leaders and community supporters to celebrate the dedication and outstanding service of local public servants. In July 2022, Clinton residents approved a 2% increase in the restaurant tax to fund enhancements to city parks and community spaces. Since then, Parks and Recreation Director Courtney Nunn has gathered feedback from local organizations and residents to guide priority improvements. At a recent September Board Meeting, the Board of Aldermen accepted the top bid for phase one of these projects, funded by the tax revenue.
