HOOT Haunting of Olde Towne

The Haunting of Old Towne (H.O.O.T.) returns to Lion’s Club Park on Thursday, October 26, from 6 pm to 8 pm for all of its creepy, crawly, and fun festivities.

Trick-or-treaters will be greeted by all the usual crowd favorites, including costume contests for kids sixteen and under and carnival-style games. In addition, bounce houses and other interactive games will be available for H.O.O.T. attendees. Special guests Rapunzel and Black Panther will also be handing out candy and taking photos at The Olde Towne Depot!

As always, there will be lots of candy and toys for everyone participating in the games, and age-appropriate prizes will be given to all contest winners.

The entrance to the event will be at the corner of East Street and East Leake Street. East Leake Street will be closed from East Street to the railroad tracks beginning at 3 p.m. on October 27.

The following Saturday, October 28, at 10 a.m., Clinton Parks and Recreation is hosting Howl-o-ween at the Clinton Bark Park. All humans and leashed pets are welcomed for a howling good time!

Dog-loving Clintonians are invited to dress up their dogs and themselves in their best Halloween attire for a costume contest and doggie trick-or-treats. The costume contest will have four categories for small, medium, large, and people/pet combo, with prizes for the winners of each category.

Judging will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m.

H.O.O.T. and Howl-o-ween are free to the public.
