HOOT Haunting of Olde Towne
The Haunting of Olde Towne (H.O.O.T.) returns to Lions Club Park on Thursday, October 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for an evening full of creepy, crawly, and fun festivities for the whole family. Trick-or-treaters can look forward to carnival games filled with candy and toy prizes, costume contests for children 13 and under, a treat walk on stage, and a spooky haunted tunnel. Kids can also enjoy inflatables, while families capture memories at the photo booth provided by Spectacular Moments of Mississippi. The Crown Club will be on site painting faces, and Turner the Train will make his way around Olde Towne throughout the night. The Depot will host Micky, Minnie, and Elsa to take photos with trick-or-treaters, adding an extra dose of Halloween excitement.
A variety of food vendors will be available to satisfy your cravings, including Sweet Mama’s Kountry Kitchen, Dad’s Dogs, and Sno Biz. East Leake Street will be closed from East Street to the railroad tracks beginning at 3:00 p.m. on October 30, and event attendees are asked to use the entrance at East Street and East Leake Street. H.O.O.T. is free and open to the public.
