Elected Officials Recognize Clinton’s 12U Baseball Team at August Board Meeting

During the August 20th Board of Aldermen meeting, the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Clinton recognized the members of the Clinton 12U Baseball team who captured the state title during the 2024 Mississippi Little League State Championship. “Team Mississippi” traveled to Waco, Texas to represent the Magnolia State at the Little League World Series Southwest Regional competition. All games were aired on ESPN, and the Team carried the State Flag of Mississippi in the Opening Ceremony.
Team members include Jax Boswell, Thomas Cole, Harrison Cooley, Brody Cox, Noah Davis, Ayden Johnson, Kellan Langdon, Case Peterson, Luke Rives, Vaughan Stanford, Brayden Tackett, Luke Walker, Coach Anthony Stanford, Coach Daniel Tackett, and Coach Dan Rives.
The City of Clinton appreciates the pride and recognition that the Clinton 12U Little League Baseball players have brought to their community and to the State, and look forward to following their continued achievements in the days ahead.
