Clinton is home to Mississippi College, the oldest college in Mississippi and the second oldest Baptist college in the world. Founded in 1826, the college boasts a distinguished history replete with many outstanding alumni. U.S. News and World Report ranks MC in the “Top 10” category of best values, and the institution has been selected for 13 years to be on the Honor Roll of Character-Building Institutions of the Templeton Foundation.
Mt. Salus Christian School is a fully accredited K3-12th grade independent school in Clinton, Mississippi. Students are taught from a Bible-based education and are prepared for life, not just graduation. Mt. Salus has been delivering Christ-centered academic excellence since 1970.
Clinton Christian Academy educates every student, Pre-K through 12th grade, for lifelong success and to enrich them with Christian purpose. CCA is SACS and MAIS accredited, and has been awarded the AA acreditation status by the Mississippi Assocation of Independent Schools
