GRAND OPENING - October 5, 2019
The City of Clinton will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new Clinton Bark Park on October 5, 2019 from 10 A.M. - noon. The new dog park at 913 Old Vicksburg Road will feature spaces for small and large dogs to play while they interact with other pet lovers in the community.
In the planning stages for the last year, the park will feature play structures, water fountains for furry friends and benches.
Clinton Parks and Recreation Department has designed a safe, green space that both pets and their owners will be enjoying for years to come.
In addition to being a gathering spot for local pets and their owners, it’s conveniently located next to Kid’s Towne Park, where families and pets can play together.
All vaccinated dogs and their owners are invited to attend the grand opening on October 5 from 10 a.m. - noon to receive a first look at the community’s latest addition. Free commemorative giveaways will be given away.
According to Parks and Recreation Director Adam Wade, the Clinton Dog Park “will be the first Dog Park between the Ross Barnett Reservoir and Vicksburg.”
In the aerial photo, the large area will be for dogs over 30 lbs and the smaller area for dogs under 30 lbs.
