Clinton Police Seek Person of Interest in Fatal Shooting
On Monday, October 20, 2025, at approximately 10:58 p.m., officers with the Clinton Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at a residence located at 907 Cedar Hills Drive in Clinton.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 45-year-old Jasmine Singleton deceased on the kitchen floor from multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and observed a gold Chevrolet Tahoe leaving the scene immediately afterward. Surveillance footage from the area confirmed these accounts. The vehicle was found to be registered to 42-year-old Carlton D. Mack, the victim’s ex-boyfriend, who has multiple prior arrests related to domestic violence.
The suspect vehicle was later discovered abandoned in Jackson, Mississippi, and has since been recovered by CPD.
Clinton Police investigators are actively seeking Carlton Mack for questioning in connection with this ongoing homicide investigation.
