Clinton Police Department Make Arrests in Arby’s Armed Robbery

On the morning of Monday, January 13, 2025, the Clinton Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Arby’s Restaurant located at 318 Hwy 80 East.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that a female employee had entered the restaurant and was confronted by a male suspect already inside. The suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded the employee’s purse and attempted to obtain additional money before fleeing the scene on foot. Fortunately, the employee was not physically injured during the incident.

Clinton patrol officers and detectives immediately began investigating. Through the use of video surveillance and other evidence, detectives quickly identified the suspect as Marshall Johnson, 47, of 243 Lexington Ave., Jackson, MS. Johnson was apprehended later that evening near Bullard Street.

A second individual, Andrayia Davis, 43, of 700 N. Jefferson St., Jackson, MS, was also arrested in connection with the robbery on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Ms. Davis is believed to be an employee of the Arby’s in Clinton.
