Clinton Honors Public Servants at 2025 Chamber of Commerce Luncheon
The Clinton Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Public Service Luncheon this week, recognizing outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to the City of Clinton. The event was attended by local and state elected officials, city leaders, and members of the business community, all gathered to celebrate excellence in public service.
Sergeant Robin Steve of the Clinton Police Department was named Police Officer of the Year for her steadfast leadership and commitment to protecting the people of Clinton. Sgt. Steve is widely respected among her peers for her professionalism, compassion, and unwavering dedication to serving others. Her calm leadership and community-first approach have made her an invaluable part of the department and a trusted presence within the city.
Lieutenant Joshua Wilson of the Clinton Fire Department was honored as Firefighter of the Year. Lt. Wilson’s initiative and determination have made a tangible difference in the department’s operations, most notably through his efforts to obtain approximately $20,000 in donated rope rescue equipment, significantly enhancing the department’s ability to respond to emergency situations. His resourcefulness and dedication reflect his deep commitment to the safety and well-being of Clinton’s residents.
Cariana Weathersby, representing the City of Clinton’s Therapeutic Recreation Department, was recognized as City Employee of the Year. Known for her enthusiasm, teamwork, and compassion, Cariana continuously goes above and beyond to create meaningful experiences for residents of all abilities. Her passion for service and her uplifting attitude have made her a cornerstone of the department and an inspiration to her colleagues.
