Clinton Announces 2026 Spring Citywide Cleanup

February 13, 2026

The City of Clinton is preparing for its annual Spring Citywide Cleanup, scheduled for April 25 through May 2, 2026, and residents are encouraged to begin planning now to take part in this communitywide effort to keep Clinton clean and beautiful.

As we look ahead to spring, it is worth reflecting on the incredible impact residents made during the Fall Citywide Cleanup and Household Hazardous Waste Day. Community participation played a major role in the success of that initiative. In just one event, residents helped collect 305 gallons of used oil, 2,500 gallons of paint, and more than 7,500 pounds of household hazardous waste. In addition, 37 disposal bins were filled, and crews removed approximately 1,110 cubic yards of debris from across the city.

These numbers represent more than just waste removed. They reflect a shared commitment among residents to protect Clinton’s neighborhoods, roadways, drainage systems, and natural environment. Proper disposal of hazardous materials such as oils and paints helps prevent contamination, while large-scale debris removal improves safety, appearance, and overall quality of life.

The upcoming Spring Citywide Cleanup provides another opportunity for residents to clear out yard debris, unwanted household items, and general clutter following the winter months. Seasonal cleanups like this not only enhance curb appeal but also support citywide beautification and public health efforts as Clinton moves into the warmer seasons.

Additional details regarding cleanup guidelines, eligible items, and pickup schedules will be announced soon. Residents are encouraged to stay connected through the City of Clinton’s website and official communication channels for updates.

By building on the momentum of the fall effort, the city looks forward to another successful cleanup made possible through strong community participation.
