City of Clinton Recreation Departments Recognized at Annual MRPA Conference

Our Recreation Departments were recognized last night at the MRPA 2023 Annual Conference for their tremendous efforts to promote well-being and community in Clinton. The Parks and Recreation Department received awards for The Haunting of Olde Towne (HOOT) and the Traceway Mini Pitches, while the Therapeutic Recreation Department received awards for their quilting workshop and 20th-anniversary celebration.
In addition, Courtney Nunn, Director of Parks and Recreation, was named MRPA Professional of the Year and voted President-Elect for the MRPA organization, and Liz Winder, Therapeutic Recreation Senior Program Coordinator, was voted Mississippi Therapeutic Recreation Alliance President-Elect.
