Citywide Fall Cleanup & Hazardous Waste Disposal Set for October

September 10, 2026

The City of Clinton’s annual Fall Cleanup will be held October 10–17, excluding Sunday, October 11, giving Clinton residents an opportunity to dispose of yard waste, bulky items and other household debris free of charge.

Fall Cleanup

Fall Cleanup will take place from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the former Northside Elementary School property, located at 1111 Old Vicksburg Road.

Residents utilizing the service should line up on Longwood Place in the Briars and turn west onto Old Vicksburg Road to enter the disposal site. City employees will be on site to assist residents as needed.

Due to the expense of the program, Fall Cleanup is available to City of Clinton residents only, and proof of residency is required. Accepted forms of identification include a City of Clinton water or garbage bill, driver’s license, or state-issued ID showing a Clinton address.

Electronics, refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioning units and hazardous materials cannot be accepted during Fall Cleanup.

E-Waste & Hazardous Waste Disposal Day

Residents needing to dispose of electronics or household hazardous materials will have a separate opportunity on Saturday, October 24, from 8:00 A.M. to noon at 525 Springridge Road.

The E-Waste & Hazardous Waste Disposal Day will accept electronics and household hazardous materials, including items such as paint and pesticides.
