Burn Ban in Effect Through April 1
The City of Clinton has implemented a burn ban that will remain in effect through April 1.
During this time, no burn permits will be issued, and all outdoor burning is strictly prohibited within the city limits. This includes the burning of yard debris, brush piles, and any other open outdoor fires.
Dry conditions significantly increase the risk of rapidly spreading grass and brush fires, which can threaten homes, property, and public safety. Residents are also reminded not to discard cigarettes or other materials that could ignite dry vegetation.
We appreciate the community’s cooperation in helping protect our neighborhoods and first responders.
