Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Rescheduled Due to Weather
The City of Clinton has postponed the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony originally scheduled for Thursday evening due to the forecast of inclement weather. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, performers, and staff.
The event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Clinton City Hall.
The Christmas Tree Lighting is a cherished community tradition marking the beginning of the holiday season in Clinton. While the delay is unfortunate, the City looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors for a joyful and memorable celebration under clearer skies.
Additional updates will be shared across the City’s official communication channels. We appreciate the community’s understanding and look forward to celebrating together on the new date.
