featured project
TRACEWAY PARK 4-PLEX
The Traceway Park Softball 4-Plex is receiving a long overdue investment with the full renovation of its concessions and restroom building. The existing facility had served the four-field complex for years and was in need of significant updates to meet the demands of one of Clinton’s most active athletic venues. Funded by the 2% Parks and Recreation Tax, the completed facility will provide modern, upgraded amenities for players, families, and spectators. Project completion is expected in 2027.
PICKLEBALL
TOWNE PARK
PICKLEBALL COMPLEX
Towne Park received a major recreation upgrade with the addition of eight new pickleball courts, a pavilion, and a concessions area. The project also delivered the first permanent restroom facilities for Towne Park, Kids Towne Park, and Bark Park, replacing a single porta potty previously shared across all three parks.is text in the module Advanced settings.
PLAYGROUND
BRIGHTON PARK
INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND
Brighton Park is home to a new state-of-the-art inclusive playground, designed to welcome children of all ages and abilities. The fully upgraded facility features poured-in-place rubber flooring, shade structures, and perimeter fencing, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and accessible play environment for all visitors. The project was funded in part by the 2% Parks and Recreation Tax, with a generous grant from Struthers Recreation contributing over $90,000 toward playground equipment. The collaborative effort between Clinton Parks and Recreation and Public Works departments delivered one of the city’s most meaningful park improvements to date.
RESTROOMS
TRACEWAY PARK
RESTROOMS
Traceway Park’s sprawling baseball and softball complexes received a major convenience upgrade with two new restroom projects serving the facility’s most remote fields. A brand new restroom building was constructed to serve Softball Fields 5 and 6, while the existing restroom at Baseball Field 10 was fully upgraded with modern amenities. With Traceway Park covering a significant amount of ground, these improvements addressed a long standing need for accessible, convenient facilities for players, coaches, and families spread across the complex.
