City of Clinton 2025 Street Paving Project

August 24, 2025

The City of Clinton continues its commitment to investing in infrastructure with the launch of the 2025 Street Paving Project, set to begin this week.

Each year, Clinton’s streets are carefully evaluated using a consistent grading system conducted by the same individual to ensure fairness and accuracy. Streets are rated on multiple factors—such as ride quality, potholes, cracks, and overall surface condition—so that priorities are established objectively.

To fund these improvements, the City sets aside money in each year’s budget specifically for street paving. Once the grading is complete, the City moves into the bidding process, working to stretch every dollar and pave as many streets as possible. This deliberate process ensures that Clinton residents see the maximum return on their tax dollars through smoother, safer roads across the city.

This year’s paving project will include the following streets, completed in order:

1. Cambridge Cove

2. Pebble Brook Drive

3. West Virginia Drive

4. Quail Hollow Drive

5. Winding Hills Drive

6. Short Dawson Street

7. Shady Glen Drive

8. Park Place

9. Soccer Row

10. Sunny Orchard

11. Heatherlynn Circle

While most of the work will focus on repaving, some streets may require more extensive repairs before paving can begin. Crews will work diligently to complete the project as quickly as possible, and residents are encouraged to use caution and patience around construction zones.

🗺️ To help residents plan ahead, we’ve created a paving progress map showing the streets scheduled for work and the order they’ll be completed. You can use the map to see if paving will affect your usual travel routes. The City of Clinton appreciates the community’s cooperation and patience as crews work to enhance neighborhood streets.
