Fall Citywide Cleanup and Hazardous Waste Day

September 23, 2025

The City of Clinton’s annual Fall Citywide Cleanup will take place October 11–18, 2025 (closed Sunday, October 12).

During the cleanup period, the City of Clinton will have dumpsters available for residents at the old Northside Elementary School, located at 1111 Old Vicksburg Road.

Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily (excluding Sunday). City employees will be present to assist residents as needed.

Residents utilizing the service are asked to line up on Longwood Place in the Briars and turn west on Old Vicksburg Road for disposal. Due to the expense of the program, the Public Works Department will limit the service to Clinton residents only. Proof of residency will be required. Accepted forms of identification include:

  • City of Clinton water/garbage bill

  • Driver’s license or state-issued ID card with a Clinton address

The Fall Citywide Cleanup provides Clinton residents an opportunity to dispose of yard waste, bulky items, and other household debris free of charge.

⚠️ Not Accepted: The cleanup does not include e-waste (computers, printers, keyboards), refrigerators, freezers, or A/C units containing freon.

A separate Household Hazardous Waste Event will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Public Works facility, 525 Springridge Road. Hazardous waste items such as paint, pesticides, and other chemicals may be disposed of at this time. ID is required.
