Recreation Departments Receive Awards at MRPA Annual Conference
The Clinton Parks & Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation teams had an incredible showing at the 2025 MRPA Annual Conference in Natchez, Mississippi, bringing home multiple awards and earning well-deserved recognition for their outstanding work in the community!
City of Clinton Water Main Breaks
The Public Works Department is actively working on numerous water main breaks within the city of Clinton. During these extreme dry weather conditions, the hardening of the ground can cause damage to the line. Water main breaks are a priority of the department and, as a result, water leaks will be resolved when all main break issues have been addressed. City of Clinton Burn Ban
The City of Clinton is under a burn ban. During a burn ban, anything with an open flame that produces an ember is not allowed. The Clinton Fire Department will not be issuing burn permits during this time. The situation will be re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis as there must be a substantial amount of rain to make any controlled burn safe.
